On the way out we met a couple climbers (and their dog Crash), who told us that the Owens River Gorge (which we had ruled out due to heat) would be bearable early in the morning. This made us decide to change our plans and climb at the gorge first thing in the AM. So we drove into Bishop that night to buy the Gorge guide and some dinner material. That night we ate an amazing bowtie pasta with spicy sausage. mmmmm... This view is on the way to the Gorge.
